FCFF (Fun Construction Fact Friday)

The Shard in London foundation consists of 2,000 tonnes of steel and 3,000 cubic meters (105,944 cubic feet) of concrete. The building is supported by 44 load-bearing columns connected to a central core.

Okay, it wasn’t that fun, but that is a LOT of steel and concrete!
