NPORS stands for the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme, and it is fast becoming one of the UK’s leading plant training schemes. Similar to the CPCS card scheme, NPORS training and testing has gained traction over the years; it is favoured by many construction companies for its ease of use. It is also accepted by BuildUK; one of the largest representative groups of the UK construction industry.
NPORS training is much more flexible, with training being able to be delivered on site as opposed to only being delivered at a training centre.
That means, we can bring NPORS training to you.
The scheme has also now aligned itself with Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) so that the training cards can be embossed with the CSCS logo when operatives have taken and passed the correct HS&E test.
How can I earn my NPORS card?
NPORS now offers plant operators the opportunity to progress their skills and competency by providing Trained Operator and Experienced Operator cards, depending on operators level of experience. These can be achieved via an NVQ.
Cards Available:
NPORS Traditional card (5 year validity)
NPORS Red Trained Operator card – CSCS Embossed (2 year validity)
NPORS Blue Competent Operator card – CSCS Embossed (5 year validity) *restrictions available upon request (site/contractor specific)
