COSHH TRAINING COURSE

CONTROL OF SUBSTANCES HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH (COSHH) COURSE:

If your job involves handling hazardous chemicals, it’s important you’re aware of how they can harm your health. With our course, you’ll become informed, compliant and completely confident when working with various substances.

OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the course, delegates will know how to identify, measure and control exposure to harmful substances specific to their industry. They will also be up-to-speed on current legislation covering the labelling and packaging of chemicals.

This one-day course will be held by our experienced and qualified tutors.

• Health hazards of specific agents
• The role of COSHH
• Workplace exposure limits and other sources of information
• Control measures
• Surveys for health risks
• Environmental issues
• Practical COSHH risk assessments

ASSESSMENT / CERTIFICATE: 

At the end of the course, delegates will be assessed using a multiple-choice exam paper. Once they pass, they’ll be awarded a QST certificate that’s valid for three years.
