OBJECTIVES:

Delegates will gain and consolidate the ability to monitor and control mechanical excavators on site- following all relevant procedures.

Delegates will show a safety-minded approach to managing hazards on active sites; working and communicating well with others to keep the work site safe.

DURATION:

This is a one-day course, run nationwide by our team of expert Tutors. Courses may be booked on site, or at our Training Hub depending on your preference.

EUSR EXCAVATOR BANKSMAN COURSE CONTENT:

• Understand your roles and responsibilities, including safe working practices and relevant safety legislation such as HSG47.

• Plan and prepare the necessary resources to effectively direct plant operations.

• Familiarize yourself with equipment information, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Direct the movement of vehicles safely, ensuring smooth and hazard-free operations.

• Position and mark out plant locations on the site accurately, following site plans and safety protocols.

• Continuously monitor and control excavations to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout the operation.

ASSESSMENT / CERTIFICATE:

Delegates’ will be assessed through practical and exam paper needs.

After successfully completing the training and passing these assessments, delegates will be awarded an EUSR card which is valid for 3 years.

EUSR EXCAVATOR BANKSMAN REQUIREMENTS:

Delegates must be able to read, write and understand English. Delegates must have fully compliant PPE. For any questions or for further information, please contact our support team.

LOCATION:

This course can be carried out at our training centre in Ashburton or anywhere on site throughout the UK and Ireland – as long as the site meets the course requirements.

EUSR EXCAVATOR BANKSMAN GRANTS:
