General Health and Safety Training Courses via zoom in Exeter

All employers have a duty to ensure that their employees are appropriately trained to carry out their works.

OBJECTIVES:

Quality Safety Training are a training provider based in Exeter and we offer general health and safety courses via zoom, in a variety of subjects that will afford employees the knowledge and understanding to be able to carry out their works safely.

We offer the following general courses:

1. Manual Handling Operations zoom Course: To avoid staff having to take time off work due to manual handling injuries, this course will give instruction on the correct techniques to be employed.  It will also give employees background information on ill-health statistics and relevant legislation.
2. Abrasive Wheels zoom Course: This course will teach employees about the relevant legislation regarding the use, storage and handling of abrasive wheels.  It is a half day course designed to give employees the information required on how to identify the hazards of using abrasive wheels and how to control the risks.
3. Fire Marshal / Fire Warden zoom Course: This course is designed to provide employees with the knowledge of which appropriate fire extinguisher to use for particular types of fires.  It will also help them to understand their responsibilities regarding ensuring their specific areas are cleared of personnel during drills and emergencies.  As well as informing them about the importance of regular checks and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment and emergency lighting and signage.
4. Risk Assessment zoom Workshop: Risk assessment is a legal requirement under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.  This one-day course, split into two workshops, will teach employees how to consider what the hazards and risks are within their working environment.  It will also enable employees to gain an understanding of how risk assessments are to be properly recorded, reviewed and communicated.
